Mobile applications can help health authorities at a national and EU level in monitoring and containing the spread of COVID-19. Since its declaration as a pandemic, many countries have announced the launch of apps to support the fight against the virus.
An EU toolbox was released following the European Commission’s recommendation on apps for contact tracing which will serve as a means of combating and alleviating the COVID-19 crisis. Representatives of the teams having developped these applications will share experience and challenges from cybersecurity perspective.
